Jack Grealish was signed from Aston Villa for then record £100 million transfer back in 2021/22 season. He trippled his salary after joining Man City taking it to massive £300,000 per week compared to his last contract at Aston Villa where he was earning £105,000 a week. His tenure at Man City have had mixed feelings as some believe he did not live upto the expectations. Although since he joined Man City has won the league and each of the season he has been at the club. His peronal performances have taken a giant dip in last couple of years.
His current contract expire in 2027 and with Man City buying Omar Marmoush, we can safely assume Grealish to be as surplus of requirement at the club. However it will be very difficult for Man City to sell him elsewhere because unless Grealish takes a pay cut, no club will offer him the same salary.
