It is reported in German media that Bayern Munich are looking to tier-down their wage structure to help sustaint the club expenses better. For reference in 2024, Bayern Munich made around €700 million in revenue while the wage bill for 2024/25 season is over €220 million a year. That is almost double then that of Borussia Dortmund who has second highest wage bill in Germany at €112 million a year.
