Probably the most dominant team not only in Cricket but in World sports, Australia Cricket Team is in cricket what Brazil is in Football. Controlled by Australian Cricket Board (ACB) who have Australia cricketers on their central contracts. 

Cricket Australia 2024/25 Central Contract: ACB Central Contract has been upgraded after players union and ACB reached an agreement and according to newly signed memorandum of understanding (MOU), there will be 7.5% increase in yearly retainer for central contracted players. 

23 Players are included in the yearly retainer list which are further categorized according to past performances and seniority. On average an Australia national team regular player will be earning on average around $951,000 a year. While some of the top players who play in all formates, can earn upto as much as $3 million a year (which include guranteed yearly retainer plus per tour/match fee which is on top of the retainer money)
